Wednesday

Still feeling sick, but at the Hospital I work at.. per rules and regulations one can only miss 6 days (with or without a Dr.'s note) in a year. On the 7th absent you are terminated no matter what. So I guess I am going to been over and take it like a Man. Going to work this morning. I can tell you one thing; I do know it is my allergies that is killing me. Hate this part of Spring.

  2. I'm sneezing and all stuffy too Ray. Zertec and all the rest don't even help. UGH! Hang in there and hope the day goes fast for you so you can get home and rest.

  3. So sorry you're not feeling at all well. I do know that allergies can make you feel really terrible without any other symptoms like a temperature, runny nose, or sneezing. Hope you're back to normal soon.

  4. Considering your job you probably know this "recipe" but ... "snort" with 1/4 tsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of salt in 1/2 cup of warm water. By "Snort" I mean suck it up one nostril and spit it out your mouth, then the other one. Repeat a few times each session. It should tame down your infected mucous membranes ... gross as it is. Good luck and hope it helps!

sorry U are sick, Man. My partner has the same thing this time of year, every year. Allergies. He sounds like death warmed over. What nitwit at your hospital passed a policy that will only encourage sick staff to actually come to work - to mingle with pts who already have compromised immune systems. duh

Your employer needs to change their policy.

  11. Hi Ray,
Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Hope you feel better soon. I'm really surprised that a Hospital would have such a ridiculous policy.
