Agree with Lorenzo! Horror still fills my heart at the very thought of this.

I've been crying in my heart ever since it happened. I'll never get over it.

I flew out of NYC on Sept. 10, 2001. The company I was working for then put me up at the Holiday Inn downtown. From my hotel window, I had a fantastic view from my window on to the twin towers. I remember Friday, September 7, when an old friend of mine from NYC came up to my room and we both smoked a spliff, enjoying the view, before going out for a meal. I took a fabulous picture of the towers over that weekend as the weather was hot and gorgeous. That photo is now framed and hangs on my living room wall. However, no sooner was I back in Paris - the towers were gone!

It all still seems unfathomable to me even today, nine years later ...

It's a shame that after all this time there's still a hole in the ground.
