I like your blog. Great pictures, comments; and I love it when you have pictures of dogs, horses and other animals... Do the complaints come from people who are anonymous? People who log into Ray's Cowboy do so by choice. Spam is unwanted material that you receive in your email.

If I subscribe a post (without password required like this one) in order to get an email that alerts me of any further comments, I get some spam mails.

I have never "subscribed" to a blog to get the latest post. Maybe that's the secret.
I've been accessing your blog every day for the past 7+ years and have never gotten spam from it. I am no expert, but it is possible that the email you use for Blogger got hacked and if you are not 'married' to this email address, create a new one.
Maybe one of your readers can help you with some diagnostics to locate a potential virus in your system and also suggest some additional safeguards.

for some advice - he is a great guy and was a great help to me when I had Blogger problems.
If it will make you feel any better, I was 'hacked' a number of years ago and 'lady porn' was sent to my boss and all of my work and personal email accounts. I had to come out to a number of skeptics (including my boss!!) in order to prove that the 'lady porn' did not come from me !!!
One last thing- don't allow "Anonymous" comments - change your Blogger settings - Your regular "anon." commenters will understand.
I've never had a issue with your site.
You can do Word Verify without it overly inconveniencing your readers/commenters. Set it up for posts older than 3-5 days. Most spam hits the older, higher trafficked posts so by doing it on posts older than 3-5 days you should eliminate 98%. It worked for me and I took it on the advise of another blogger who I can't recall because it was so many years ago.
